Supporting the Prevention of Malnutrition and Stunting, PP Properti Distributes Hundreds of Nutrition Packages
Thursday, 22nd June 2023 – PP Properti Tbk (Stock Code: PPRO) through Westown View project fully supports the prevention of malnutrition and stunting by distributing hundreds of nutrition packages for toddlers and preschoolers located in Wiyung District. This nutritional package assistance was symbolically done simultaneously with Chillax Half Tower event which was held on 11th June at the Westown View Marketing Office, Surabaya.
As an act of celebration for the achievement of building the La Chiva tower, the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program was launched with the theme “Stunting-Free” for which the focus of the program is to prevent stunting, especially for toddlers and preschoolers from the Wiyung District.
Nutrition package assistance given to the children is in the form of food high in nutrients and animal proteins. The nutrition packages with a total of 400 packages will be managed by the representative of Wiyung District and given regularly to toddlers and preschoolers in the Wiyung District.
Ikhwan Putra as VP of Corporate Secretary said, “The provision of this assistance is a concrete manifestation of PP Properti’s concern for the surrounding community, one of which is by making sustainable contributions. PP Properti is committed to making a positive contribution to public health.”
“With this CSR assistance, PP Properti has high hopes in preventing stunting by fulfilling the nutrition of children who are the next generation of the nation. This program also aims to support the government’s efforts to improve the nutritional quality of toddlers and reduce cases of stunting in Indonesia,” he added.
