Jakarta, 2 September 2026 – PT PP Properti Tbk (“PPRO”) distributed humanitarian assistance to communities affected by the 7.7 magnitude earthquake in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), as part of the Company’s commitment to carrying out Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL).
The assistance was handed over through the Kupang City Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Post on Monday (31/8), in coordination with the NTT Provincial BPBD to support the distribution process safely and on target according to the needs of the people in the affected areas. The assistance distributed includes various basic needs, including food and basic necessities, drinking water, clothing needs, and other basic needs that are expected to help the community during the disaster handling and recovery period.
Based on BMKG information, an earthquake with a magnitude of 7.7 shook the NTT region on Saturday (15/8). The disaster caused an impact on the community and damage in a number of areas, especially on residents’ homes and various facilities and infrastructure. These conditions also affect people’s activities and lives, so support from various parties is needed to help meet basic needs while supporting the post-disaster recovery process.
As a form of solidarity and empathy, PPRO assistance is collected through the participation of management and all PPRO personnel, both at the head office and projects, who work together in actions of concern for the people of NTT. This spirit of togetherness is part of PPRO’s commitment to not only carry out business activities, but also be present and provide benefits to the community.
President Director of PPRO, Dyah Rahadyannie, said that concern for others is a value that continues to be maintained in the implementation of Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility.
“We express our deep condolences and concern to our brothers and sisters affected by the earthquake disaster in NTT. This assistance is a form of mutual concern from the big family of PPRO. We hope that this assistance can help meet the needs of the affected communities while providing support in the post-disaster recovery process,” said Dyah.
Furthermore, Dyah expressed her appreciation to all PPRO personnel, both at the Head Office and Project, who have participated in the awareness action. According to her, the involvement of various parties within the PPRO shows that the spirit of mutual cooperation can be realized together.
“We also appreciate all PPRO personnel who have worked together in this humanitarian action. The concern that grows from the Company’s internal environment shows that the spirit of togetherness is not only a value that we hold, but also realized through real actions,” added Dyah.
Through various social and environmental responsibility programs, PPRO is committed to continuing to make contributions that are relevant to the needs of the community. This commitment is not only realized in disaster situations, but also through various initiatives in the social, environmental, and community empowerment sectors as part of the Company’s efforts to create sustainable benefits.
PPRO hopes that this support can be part of the common spirit to assist the people of NTT in the process of rising and recovering after the disaster.
