PP Property is present in developing the Batang Industrial Area

Batang, September 1, 2021 – One of the developers of a BUMN subsidiary, PT PP Properti Tbk (stock code: PPRO) has signed an MOU in cooperation with the Batang Integrated Industrial Estate (KIT Batang) in the development of township, commercial and supporting facilities. The signing process was attended by I Gede Upeksa Negara as President Director of PT PP Properti Tbk, Fajar Saiful Bahri as Director of Business Development and HCM of PT PP Properti Tbk, Galih Saksono as President Director of PT KIT Batang, Rudi Harjito as Director of Finance and HCM KIT Batang, Adler Manarissan Siahaan as Director of Operations and Engineering for KIT Batang.
One of the national strategic projects fully supported by the government is KIT Batang, located in Central Java with a total area of ​​4,300 ha. The industrial area is divided into 3 clusters (industrial area & township 3,100 ha and 800 ha and the Recreational Estate & Township cluster 400 ha). This situation provides the potential for the development of a workforce who will need housing, office areas, commercial areas and hotels.
President Director of PPRO Bp. I Gede Upeksa Negara said “In line with the development of the PPRO business, the Batang Integrated Industrial Estate is a national strategic project that has great potential and is fully supported by the Central and Regional Governments to encourage the strengthening of the industrial sector in Indonesia. In addition, the arrival of new demographics in this area will create a need for the availability of facilities in terms of residential real estate to support smooth business processes in the area. PPRO will take part in developing residential/township in cluster 1 and cluster 3”.
The development of the Batang KIT phase I was built with several supporting facilities and regional connectivity, including temporary access to the area, toll interchange KM-371+800, secondary road along 11.4 km, main road along 5.2 km, marketing gallery, station expansion. and dryport, electricity network, raw water supply, simple flats, and waste WWTP which are planned to be completed in the third quarter of 2021.
KIT Batang has the advantage of being strategically located on the north side of the Trans Java Toll Road and directly adjacent to the North Coast of Java. The identity of the area also has a different uniqueness as well as the quality of the environment and infrastructure that is built with integrated development. So that PPRO will not miss this opportunity to participate in developing the area and also support Government programs.
