Jakarta, April 13, 2026 – PT PP Properti Tbk (stock code: PPRO), one of Indonesia’s leading property developers, continues to strengthen its commitment to developing residential areas that continue to grow and are adaptive to today’s lifestyle trends. This commitment is realized through the presence of Sava Padel, a sports facility developed by one of the tenants in the Grand Dharmahusada Lagoon (GDL) area, Surabaya.
As part of the development of the lifestyle ecosystem in the region, Sava Padel comes with the concept of modern sports facilities that target urban communities and the younger generation. Until now, the construction of this padel court has reached progress of around 75% and is targeted to start operating in the second quarter of 2026.
Later, this facility will be equipped with 8 (eight) modern standard padel courts with a space height of up to 12 meters, as well as supporting facilities such as toilets, changing rooms, and comfortable bathrooms, as well as retail areas. The presence of this facility is expected to complement the exercise experience as well as socializing for residents and the surrounding community.
VP Corporate Secretary, Afrilia Pratiwi, said that the presence of tenants such as Sava Padel is part of PPRO’s strategy to enrich regional activities and answer the needs of active and healthy lifestyles of urban people today. Through the presence of modern sports facilities and a community concept, PPRO is committed to creating an area that is not only a place to live, but also a center of social interaction and an improvement in the quality of life for its residents.
“PPRO continues to encourage regional optimization through the development of lifestyle and community-based facilities. This is done to support the company’s sustainable performance. The presence of a padel court in the GDL area is expected to become a new crowd puller that strengthens the dynamics of the region. This not only provides added value for residents, but also increases long-term investment potential,” said Afrilia.
As one of PPRO’s student residence projects, GDL is located in a strategic location in an educational area close to the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) and Airlangga University (UNAIR), GDL has great potential as a center for the activities of the younger generation and urban communities in Surabaya. This further strengthens GDL’s positioning as an integrated residential area that not only provides a place to live but also provides a dynamic and value-added living space for its residents.
Today, the GDL area has developed into a lively environment with the support of the East Market commercial area, which is known as one of the favorite culinary destinations of young people in Surabaya. Various tenants have been present, such as NADA (Ada Apa Dalam Kopi), Padang Merdeka, Waroeng Gandoel, RUI Heritage, Guri Ramen, J.Chicken, POTRAM Barbershop, to Kriuk-Kriuk, which plays a role in creating an active and inclusive social space.
All facilities at GDL are designed in an integrated manner to provide comfort living in one area. From residential, commercial areas, to lifestyle facilities such as padel courts, everything is developed to support a balance between activities, recreation, and social interaction.
Through the presence of diverse and complementary tenants, PPRO continues to encourage the creation of residential areas that are not only comfortable to live in, but also able to accommodate the needs of modern lifestyles. With the sustainable development of this facility, it is hoped that it can create a residential environment that is able to support the productivity of the area in the long term.
